I only want certain people to see my app, but the "Private" option is not available.

The Trial plan comes with public app sharing, but not private app sharing. On the Sharing tab, you'll see that your app sharing options are Public or Only me. To make your app private to a few people only, upgrade to the Pro plan or higher.
